Modification of Sentence

In some cases, a person serving a jail sentence may be eligible to request the Court to modify their sentence. If you were sentenced by the Court or if your plea agreement contained a provision permitting you to seek a sentence modification, you may currently be eligible for a sentence modification.

Even if you are eligible to request a sentence modification, it does not require the court to modify your sentence. It simply means you may file a request for modification.
